I have recently completed my NVQ with Upskill. I am an ISU operative at Connect Plus services working on highway England. My mentor Luke was very helpful in guiding me through the process with regular updates by email and zoom meetings. Luke set up a drop box which let me take photos of everything and helped me upload evidence of my progress. This made it easy for me to achieve my NVQ Level 2.

This would be the second NVQ I have done with upskill, both times I have been impressed with the speed in which they were completed. I would highly recommend upskill to anyone.

My dealing with Upskill has been fantastic throughout, Aaron and Mike have delivered a first-class service and my one-to-one with Mike on the final assessment was great, thank you for your help with the whole process of gaining this qualification.

Due to not being able to renew my Black CSCS card without a NVQ albeit I have IOB, however the new rules state I have to have an NVQ. So, I contacted Mick whom I explained my problem and he straight away told me not to worry as he has worked with a lot of people in my situation. He explained what was involved and that I could do it all in my own time so no pressure from that side. I had recently left a company that went bust and in doing so took all my records needed as evidence, so I had to start a fresh however I found that they a lot a drop box administrator that helps you along the way with advice and assistance on what exactly is required for evidence. In fairness once I had all the evidence, it was checked by Sean and then put forward to Mick for an interview to make sure I was confident in my evidence and once completed that was it! I found the whole experience easy to set up, easy to do (with their help) and fairly quick considering I had nothing to start with.

I am Andrew Cousins and I have just completed my NVQ3 with Upskills towards my Supervisory Gold Card. During my NVQ I was able to contact the representatives from Upskills at any time to clarify information that was required, to ask for assistance in gaining knowledge on my progress and if there were areas that I was perhaps not completing properly. These questions were answered promptly and provided clear direction. I was able to provide the information required and when it came to the Zoom calls with Frank Dunn, I felt comfortable answering the questions put to me. Frank, Luke and Emma made the NVQ run smoothly, and it was a great experience. Your tracking is carried out using Dropbox which in my opinion was the perfect method as Luke was able to look at my files and advise direction in completing the NVQ. Frank was always Open and honest and was able to reword his questions when certain processes have gone digital within my company. I would recommend Upskills to any company or individual who wants to work towards their NVQ. I would like to thank the team I had for all the assistance and quick responses to any of my queries and arranging Zoom chats throughout. The process is really well structured, easy to follow and understand. And I will recommend Upskill to anyone who would like to achieve an NVQ.

The course is up to your own pace and all staff are very helpful and check-up regularly to see if you’re okay with everything. All staff are an email or phone call away. Frank who I had for tutor was very helpful and helped me to relax before going into recordings for each unit. Everything to access and input for the course was very well set up. Overall, would 100% recommend!

For me this means a step forward in my personal development and I would like to say THANK YOU All at Upskill for your professionalism and friendly service. I want to thank you Frank Dunne for everything I’ve learned from him. Thank you for getting me through NVQ level 6 in construction site management. Frank always gives me excellent advice and guidance throughout the process. The process is really well structured, easy to follow and understand.
